TBS Farnsworth History:
In 1948, Vern Farnsworth established Farnsworth Group Limited, providing a range of services from protective coatings to labour hire. Farnsworth was involved in some of New Zealand's largest development projects including the construction of the Auckland Harbour Bridge in the late 1950's and the Marsden Point Oil Refinery in the early 1960's. As a result of these successes and a long association with operations at the Port of Auckland, Farnsworth became one of Auckland's most recognised contractors. Farnsworth Group was merged with TBS in 1991 under the current ownership.
Safety & Environmental Conservation:
TBS Farnsworth as part of the TBS Group has been independently audited by ACC for its Workplace Safety Management Practices and has met the tertiary level requirements of this ACC programme. We regularly review our safety standards and update our operative's safety training. All TBS Farnsworth personnel are Site Safe accredited.
Environmental performance is improved by incorporating monitoring and measurement activities within general work tasks, fostering a community/stakeholder consultative process and applying innovative risk management methods.
