Our robust procedures and experience ensure that jobs involving handling or removal of hazardous materials such as asbestos or lead paint are executed safely and with minimal impact on the surrounding environment.
The TBS Group has over 20 years of experience in the safe removal of asbestos in accordance with regulatory requirements. This experience includes removal projects in hospitals, power stations, industrial sites, hotels, high -rise offices, factories, schools, ships and other institutions.
As evidence of our capability, we have carried out New Zealand’s four largest asbestos removal projects. One of these projects included the removal of asbestos lagging and re-insulation of 31 kilometres of large diameter piping at the Wairakei Geothermal Power Station in the Central North Island. This project involved 35 project personnel and took a year to complete.
Our portable system provides the efficient and safe removal of asbestos from pipes where downtime is an important factor.
